Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Blanco County Court Docket does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us is kept as needed to prepare a response. We limit the message to our team unless disclosure is required by a legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers automatically receive basic technical information when a visitor loads a page:
- Page-view dates and times
- Device type and operating system
- Browser name and version
- IP address
- Visited pages and time spent on them
- Referring website, when available
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files that help show how visitors move through the site, including popular pages and common exit points. Analytics providers combine that traffic information for reporting. A browser can block cookies, although disabling them may change how some site functions behave.
What We Do With This Data
- Routing a search to the selected partner
- Operating and improving site performance
- Finding and correcting technical problems
- Understanding which pages are useful
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Blanco County Court Docket neither hosts nor sells a database of docket records or personal case data. It publishes general directions to the Blanco County District Clerk, County Clerk, local courts, and statewide search resources. Visitor information is not assembled into third-party records or consumer reports. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies supply the site's search boxes. A partner's privacy policy, retention practices, and sharing rules govern information submitted through its tool. We do not control those terms. Read the provider's policy before running a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Blanco County clerk pages, Texas court systems, legal-aid resources, or commercial search providers. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy terms apply. Review them before providing personal information.
Advertising companies may use their own systems to follow activity across websites for targeted advertising.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be available to:
- Analytics providers measuring use and performance
- Search partners processing a submitted query
- Advertising networks serving site ads
- Government or law-enforcement bodies acting under a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
Standard safeguards are used for information we collect. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so we cannot promise that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If such information is identified, a deletion request may be made.
Your Data Rights
Applicable privacy and consumer-protection laws may provide additional rights based on where a visitor lives. The Texas Public Information Act, Government Code chapter 552, governs public access to covered government records, not private-site visitor data. Judicial records have a separate boundary: Government Code section 552.0035 and Texas Rule of Judicial Administration 12 govern access to covered judiciary information, while court case records follow other court rules and law. For information maintained by this private site, you may:
- Request deletion of your information
- Ask to correct inaccurate information
- Seek a copy of information held about you
- Opt out of certain processing where applicable
